NEWS YOU CAN USE
Each week, I interview successful interior designers about their business. Now this isn’t the same old podcast you normally hear. I interview my guests (and I have some BIG names on the schedule) about a specific aspect of their design business that they have an expertise in. So in one episode you may learn how to manage your client database, or how to market to a customer that hasn’t used your services in years, and in another episode you will learn how to create a course of video content in order to create some passive income.

I am so inspired
Hi, this is a message for Luann, I am an interior designer from Sydney Australia, and I listen to most of your podcasts and absolutely love them. I am so inspired by them. I have honestly learnt so much. I need a day dedicated to listening to your podcasts…time! Thank you so much. I would love to contact you directly as i have some questions to ask? What is your email address, or the best address to contact you on?
We have obviously never met and yet I feel although I know you, a little bit, that is and you have the most infectious laugh…:))
A fresh new perspective!
I’m a healthcare interior designer in the SF Ray Area and love, love, love this show! LuAnn Nigara interviews experts on how to grow your interior design business and her enthusiasm on the subject is contagious. Her guests open themselves to a direct view into their business world of design and offer a vulnerable and authentic perspective on the complex subject of being an interior designer, with practical tips. A 5 star review for a 5 star show.
Incredibly useful, actionable advice
As an interior designer I find this podcast invaluable and highly recommend to anyone in the business or related fields. Perfect listening for driving.
An amazing resource for designers
I have been listening to this podcast for a couple of months now, and I am so amazed at all the great information and knowledge that I have learned for running my own business. I have gained so much confidence from hearing the stories of a lot of these designers, and how similar they are to my story. To hear how much they have accomplished and grown into successful businesses gives me hope that I will get there soon. It fuels me to work harder. I consider Well Designed Business a go to resource.
I’ve listened to a few different, very decent, female-entrepreneur podcasts with a slant toward interior design. LuAnn’s “A Well Designed Business” is the FIRST podcast, that has left me looking forward to the next one. Also the first one that I’ve listened to where I can’t double-task. I want to hear EVERY word. If an outside noise (I live in Manhattan) drowns out a sentence or two, I replay that section. She interviews consummate pros in the category of the day, and asks them excellent questions. When I listen to “A Well Designed Business”, I want to be able to jot things down. Sometimes I’ll pause the interview just to take in what was said. If I don’t already know her interviewee, I add their website to my bookmarks, and their books (if they’ve written one) to my wish-list, or buy them immediately. After listening to a few of her podcasts I found myself wishing she’d interview herself! I wanted to know more about Window Works, low and behold I’d find #52 “Turning the Table-an Interview with LuAnn”. I was SO happy to hear more about her expertise. It was unusual for me to want to hear the interviewer talk about herself because, with the other podcasts I’ve listened to, I find that there’s a bit too much of that. I often feel as though I’m a fly on the wall in the office of coworkers shooting the breeze about their day, my mind often wanders. “A Well Designed Business” is friendly, fun, full of professional respect and NEVER veers off point. I HIGHLY recommend it!
Love these podcasts!
Every interview is current and pertinent to the world of interior design business. Luann is a wonderful and talented interviewer. She conducts an entertaining interview while getting right to the point. All of her guests have been incredibly informative and interesting. I am so glad Luann decided to do this. It has certainly been very beneficial to my interior design business. Great job Luann!
